Sharda Girls Residency is a thoughtful and socially meaningful initiative started by senior IT Engineer, Educationist and Psychologist Mr. Manoj Purohit, Doctor by profession and Social Worker Dr. Deepak Mote, Journalist and Social Worker Mr. Suresh Biyani, and Senior Well-known & Distinguished Architect Mr. Shirish Purohit.
Over the years, it has been noticed that many girls from different parts of India come to Nanded to pursue their NEET and JEE dreams. However, when they reach the city, they often struggle with finding good accommodation, proper facilities, and reliable administration. This idea for the residency came from continuous research and counselling sessions with students, conducted by senior IT Engineer, Educationist and Psychologist Mr. Manoj Purohit, who tried to understand what exactly girls feel is missing in Nanded.
With this understanding, the founders decided to create a place that truly supports these students. Under the guidance of one of the region’s leading architects, Mr. Shirish Purohit, the project became fully functional by March 2024. The clear purpose behind this residency is to provide a safe, secure, and culturally positive environment for young girls who are living away from home for the first time.
The launch of Sharda Girls Residency is a proud milestone for Nanded, as it is the city’s first hostel planned and supervised by a highly qualified team of professionals. Located in the center of the main coaching campuses at Sham Nagar, Nanded, this residency is more than just a place to stay - it is a supportive and encouraging space designed to empower young girls. The hostel aims to offer the best “first-time away from parents” experience, so that this important phase becomes a golden memory. When girls feel protected, comfortable, and confident, they gain the wings they need to fly high in the future. Sharda Girls Residency stands as a symbol of growth, inclusivity, and community values, reflecting the spirit of the people it serves.
Sharda Girl’s residency is situated in a busy location popular with almost all tuitions around, for example, Allen institute is just adjacent or minute distance, RCC is not more than 3 minutes, and IIB and Akash is just 6/7 minutes and Konale is close to 9/10 minutes walking distance. This makes the hostel location at the heart of all those famous coaching centers in the city.
